20 Dec 2017: SYCA co-organised “Thrash it Out for 2018 Year of Climate Action” event. The meetup saw 61 registered attendees, with 48 of them being able to turn up for the event. Additionally there were also 3 attendees who were there as observers.
Nov 2017: Cuifen – Arranged for Cuifen and Cheryl to meetup with Santhosh and Anshari, SG Climate Negotiators.
6-17 Nov 2017: SYCA had a Youth Delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 23rd Conference of Parties (COP23), in Bonn, Germany, accredited by Avelife, going under the capacity of SYCA. Members: Cuifen Pui and Cheryl Lee.

4 Apr 2017: Cuifen – Organised a Dialogue session on Water and Climate Action with 3 speakers: How is water quality and health risks related? by Dr Claus Jørgensen (DHI), The great water divide in Singapore, by Ashokan Ramakrishnan (Mother Earth ToastMaster Club) and Virtual water footprints of food by Michael Broadhead (Animal Allies).
25 Mar 2017: Lastrina – Presented on SYCA’s experience at COP22 and how youth can get involved in climate action at Earth Hour, Our Green Generation, organised by EarthLink NTU.
